About us – Breaking Barriers in Food Waste Management

Unlike traditional composting machines, the GS-food Waste Digester doesn’t yield compost as a final product. This unique approach eliminates the need for additional waste management, reducing workload and hassle. Our tailored food composter is designed to handle not only solid food waste, but also liquid products like soups and sauces. Through our enzymatic process, we break down these food products into smaller, manageable components, a feat unmatched by any other liquid food digester in the market.

Optimized Capacity for Peak Seasons

We understand the importance of having enough food waste capacity, especially during busy periods like holidays. Providing the right sized machine is essential to offering reliability even during the busiest times of the year. It’s important to note that different types of food waste decompose at varying rates. Foods like dense-fiber vegetables and chicken bones require more time for breakdown. To better serve your unique needs, we require insights into your daily waste generation volume and types, particularly during peak periods.

Enzymatic Aerobic Digestion: Unveiling the Process

Ourmachine’s expertise lies in its ability to break down food waste fast and efficiently through enzymatic aerobic digestion. This process harnesses the power of our special enzymes mixes in combination with our machine and a monitored process to transform complex organic compounds into simpler components.

Enzymes, the catalysts of the natural world, take center stage in this process. Our unique enzyme mixes are specially developed for the machine, and target specific organic molecules in the food waste, initiating their breakdown. Proteases tackle proteins, lipases address fats, etcetera. As a result, large, complex molecules are transformed into smaller, more manageable fragments.

Seamless Management, Remote Control

One of the key advantages of the composting machine is its remote management feature. Employees simply need to place the food waste into the machine, and we take care of the rest. Our expert team manages the machines remotely, ensuring a hassle-free experience for your staff.

What we do

Our composting machines perform food waste processing on site, eliminating the need for garbage trucks and smelly containers. Here’s how the process works:
– On-site waste processing: Our machines break down food waste on site, eliminating the need to transport it.
– Discharge to water treatment plants: The processed food waste is led to water treatment plants in a hygienic and environmentally friendly manner via the existing sewer network.
– Biogas production: The 100% organic waste that comes from our machines is used by bacteria in water treatment plants to produce biogas.

Why is this a better approach?
– Environmentally friendly: Our method uses existing infrastructure, such as sewerage and water treatment plants, and promotes the production of renewable energy in the form of biogas. Food waste no longer ends up in landfill where the greenhouse gas methane is created.

– Efficient: By breaking down food waste on site, we avoid unnecessary transport with garbage trucks and the resulting CO2 emissions. Employees also spend less time processing food waste in a our digester machine.

– Circular solution: The biogas produced is a valuable product that can be used for energy generation, creating a circular approach to food waste management.

This innovative process offers a win-win-win situation for the environment, companies and society as a whole. It reduces pollution, minimizes transport costs and contributes to sustainable energy production.

Our model: Ceres

Our GS-Food Waste Digesters, named after the ancient goddess Ceres, embody a commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability. Ceres, also known as “Demeter” in Greek mythology, was revered as the goddess of agriculture and harvest, symbolizing fertility and the nurturing of the earth.

With a capacity of 80 liters of food waste, our digesters are tailor-made for smaller restaurants, boutique hotels, or establishments with multiple locations seeking decentralized waste management solutions. By incorporating multiple smaller machines, these businesses can efficiently manage food waste generation on-site, minimizing transportation costs and reducing their carbon footprint.

The compact design of our digesters allows for seamless integration into kitchen spaces, maximizing efficiency and minimizing disruption to daily operations. Additionally, the continuous digestion process ensures that food waste can be disposed of throughout the day as it is generated, eliminating the need for batch processing and reducing odor and hygiene concerns.

By harnessing the power of Ceres, our GS-Food Waste Digesters empower smaller establishments to take proactive steps towards environmental responsibility while enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Join us in embracing a greener future with sustainable waste management solutions tailored to the needs of your business.

Our future machine

The idea of using the GS-Food Waste Digesters to break down plant-based packaging is fascinating. This would be a significant step in converting more usable waste into valuable resources, such as bio-gas, while simultaneously processing the food waste associated with these packaging materials in the composting machine. However, the execution of this idea presents some challenges, primarily due to the diversity of plant-based materials used for food packaging.

To achieve this goal, thorough research into the composition and properties of various plant-based materials is necessary. Additionally, we must find suitable enzymes to efficiently break down these materials. This is a time-consuming process that requires experiments and adjustments to the machine.

We have already achieved the ability to break down various plant-based materials in our composting machine. This includes products made from potato starch, such as cutlery, plates, and containers. Additionally, foamed PLA materials used for clamshells and trays can also be decomposed. Paper and sugarcane pulp products, such as containers and cutlery, can likewise be processed by our enzymes.
